ann reveals herself in the castle corridor waiting for everyone's arrival

Celaira stands up walking over to the boy tilting her head watching him carefully.

Ann jumps up from a slight unnoticed presence when she looks back at where she was a shadow lay in the corner

Celaira looks at Ann wondering why she jumped. "What's the matter sister?"

Logan jumps from the suddeness of Ann's jump. Then she looks over to see her stareing at a strange black shadow.

Ann hears a strange laugh comming from the shadows position then a voice "glad to see the skills i taught you are still in your memory"

Yanmaru stares at the shadow and slowly walks closer to it.

Celaira walks over to Ann watching the shadow curiously. "Who is that Ann?"

the shadow thrusts wind slashes towards yanmaru "Don't come any closer you suspicious being"

Logans head ache slowly receeds as the voices dim into nothing. she then looks over at the shadow more intently as she hears it speak."ok so last time i checked i dont think shadows talk."

Jumps and dives out of the way and gets behind a wall to avoid more attacks. "Ann? May I ask why that shadow just shot wind at me? Or is that normal?"

"No, that is not normal." Celaira growls under her breath one of her fangs rising just over the bottom of her lip as she moves toward the shadow.

ann uses the power from her birthmark and turns it into a staff charging light and shoots a barrier at the shadow "who the hell are you?!"

The shadow laughs deeply "my name is tetsuna i am your protector"

"Tetsuna?" Celaira's voice quivers slightly as she takes a step back. "Something doesn't feel right Ann."

Logan backs up against a door ready to run at any moment.

Yanmaru stays silent in the corner and begins writing in a small book of his.

ann draws the barrier into the light so she could see tetsuna. he then stands up to glare at her " so you say you are my protector what are you?"

Celaira backs away tripping over Yanmaru's leg. She lets out a cry as she falls.

Yanmaru catches her and pulls her to the wall with him. "Are you alright?"

Celaira looks at Yanmaru sitting up against the wall. "Yes I'm fine, I'm sorry I tripped over your leg and messed up whatever you were writing."

a sudden burst of light occurs ann becomes shocked as tetsuna is now free "w...what the?"

Yanmaru smiles and replys, "Don't worry about it. The writing was of no importance. I am just happy that you are alright."

Celaira smiles back at him sweetly her eyes lighting up with happiness but then curiosity. "Do I know you from somewhere?"

Yanmaru looks over and jumps up, "Perhaps that is not important at the moment." He grabs a sword from the wall and runs over to defend Ann.

logan looks at the Shattered Barrier and opens the door ready to run. No! ruban yells at her urging her to keep watching and prepare to help.
